Lingerpost is a biannual online journal that seeks to publish the best new poetry by established and emerging artists. We are open to a wide variety of poetry as long as it is well-written and interesting.
Lingerpost: Work that exists somewhere between crossroad fingerposts directing travelers and the idea that poetry, as Emily Dickinson said, lingers and “makes [the] whole body so cold no fire can ever warm [it].”
Lingerpost: What compels us is a desire to enter another heart and imagination, to know—to penetrate, whatever the instrument, the walls that hold those same hearts and thoughts separate and closed. To know and be known.
